Welcome to Istanbul!

Today marks the release of the latest edition of Elska: Issue (06) Istanbul.

After our previous Taipei issue, our first to leave Europe, we're back in Europe (and, well, with one foot still in Asia) for our journey to the historic Turkish metropolis. Inside you'll meet fifteen local boys, photographed in the city and in their homes. Included are also two boys from beyond Istanbul in our Elska Dehors feature - one shot in Montréal by Jonathan Lemieux and the other shot in Manhattan by luke kurtis.

As always, the photospreads of each boy is accompanied by a personal story, published in their original languages and accompanied by English translations. This issue includes pieces loads in Turkish, of course, plus English and French. We also shot a Russian couple (Sasha B & Tema P) visiting Istanbul on holiday, but you'll have to head to Elska Ekstra for that!

It wasn't the easiest edition to make - though a lot of guys were interested in participating, it was really hard to get them to confirm a date and time. So we got a helping hand from the boys at Gzone Magazine to put out a call. That, along with the usual attack on social media and gay dating apps brought together a diverse bunch of lads for the issue. All were gorgeous of course, as was the city - I hope you'll get a copy and join us for the journey.
